Our family run plumbing and heating service puts the community first. If you are vulnerable, elderly or facing a disability or terminal illness, we can support you with FREE or DISCOUNTED plumbing and heating service.
Whenever I can, I use my profits to help local people with food, gas and electric costs, especially in winter. I also run small community projects to help families with daily struggles. When you book a job, you get me from start to finish. I am Gas Safe registered and fully insured. I arrive on time, explain what I am doing in clear, simple language and clean up before I leave.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Called after an emergency, arrived within an hour and fixed straight away, then also fixed another little niggling job we had been putting off (like you do!) honestly when i got the invoice was not expecting the price..was very reasonable and over £100 less than we had been quoted from other companies just for a call out, never mind actually fixing the job and parts! After spending a freezing cold night in our new home, we called James out. Within an hour he found my hidden boiler, sorted out my hot water, central heating, dish washer water supply and they still had time to show me how to use it all. Super impressed. This company has repaired my boiler for me, I have had 4 engineers from our area that came and could not repair it. They tried but could not work out the problem. They sent one of their engineers James and he found a loose wire and faulty part. He shown me these and explained it to me, luckily he had the parts in his van and he replaced them. We now have heating and hot water after 9 days of upset. Thank you James for the best service I could have asked for. Brilliant and effective would recommend to you and anyone.

Burnley & Lancashire Plumbing basically restored my parents faith in good, decent tradespeople. I cannot rate these people highly enough and would highly recommend them to others. My parents toilet and sink had broken and, after being let down by another plumber, they were worried about it happening again. I read the reviews and I am so glad I chose them because they went above and beyond to help. They arrived quickly and did a superb job. My parents could not have been happier with the work. Called James on a Friday with 3 issues. Combi boiler service needed; leaking tap that would probably need to be replaced and loo that wasn't flushing properly. James came out the next day, Saturday morning! Service carried out and tap replaced in just over an hour. Toilet issue identified and spare part to be ordered. Im a RAF veteran and OAP. James took some convincing that I did not need the discount he offered, I told him to use that money for someone in greater need than me.

I highly recommend James and cannot recommend him enough. James has helped my mum twice out of the goodness of his heart, never charging anything for his services. A couple of years ago, he fixed a serious leak from my Mums shower, and recently, I called James to let him know that my mum had no hot water due to her boiler flashing with an error, he got to my mums within the hour to look at the issue and fix it. James has been an absolute angel! We had a disaster in our kitchen where the stop cock stopped working for the input water pipe for the washing machine broke and we where unable to turn on the mains water. James came to our rescue in under 1 hour. Others had quoted us nearly £200 and James charged £2! We also had our bathroom re panelled, we where quoted a very fair price, which he discounted not once but twice! He also installed a new shower. What he didn't know was this has helped me personally with my condition. I have endometriosis and I depend on hot and cold water therapy to manage pain. So he has been a saviour in fixing this up for me. I also live with my fiance and mother in law which also needs to have a safe and secure bathroom. This man is an absolute saint and a pillar of the community.

I’ve called upon the plumbing services of James on two occasions. Recently coming out the same day to a burst water pipe within my kitchen. He fixed the leak in no time and his price for doing so was more than fair. I felt a tip was in order - James wouldn’t take extra payment, but I insisted, he then gave it to his apprentice. A true gent and my go to for plumbing works.

I recently had some work carried out by James Anderson Burnley Lancashire plumbing, he came out very prompt. We had a leaking radiator, and needed resealing done around our bath, also due to my husband having a neurological condition he fell down the stairs and due to grabbing the stair rail as he fell down the rail had come loose, James fixed all of these for no charge due to his condition. He's a lovely friendly guy who you can tell loves his job of helping the community. Will definitely be in touch again if the need arises.

Excellent service. I had a leak under my sink and couldn’t get anyone to come out for such a small job. I contacted James and he came out next morning and fixed the leak and re sealed my sink. He gave me a 50% discount too because we are pensioners. Great service from a kind and generous man. I will definitely recommend him to friends and family.
